Sarah Gagliardi is a glass artist from Buffalo, New York. She recently completed a BFA at Alfred University, where she focused on a range of glass techniques in both sculptural and functional forms. Her work focuses on memory and personal history, drawing from objects, stories, and experiences rooted in her childhood. Using glass as a transformative material, she reinterprets the past, giving physical form to memories. With a background in painting, she approaches glass as a kind of still life, assembling forms that preserve and reinterpret her past. During her time at Alfred University, she participated in four group exhibitions and worked as a glassblowing assistant in North Creek, NY. She currently lives in Buffalo, New York.
