Artwork description: Symbiosis In my bachelor's thesis I deal with the combination of optical cut glass and painting /graphics/. I focus on the symbiosis of material and technique. I use optical glass to enhance the core, which seems to float in the glass composition. The centre is static but in symbiosis with it there are ground lenses in which the surrounding space is reflected, magnified and distorted. The basic geometric shapes used in the object are the cut-outs of the sphere, which have no beginning or the end. They are a symbol of the earth and infinity. The painting is applied in two ways, the first using screen printing and the second is painted with lister color. The inspiration for my work comes from my experience of nature. Painting with a composition of triangles is my stylization of nature, trees and mountains.
