Artwork description: This piece does not seek to explore abstract concepts or metaphors. Instead, by intentionally focusing on something as mundane and overlooked as the toilet, it extracts new perspectives from the very fabric of ordinary life. By placing this trivial daily experience in a context removed from reality, the work invites the viewer to reconsider it. In creating this work, I focused on the intersection of time and routine. The toilet, used daily by nearly everyone, forces a brief pause in our lives, where time slows and we face solitude. These moments, though mundane, strip away distractions and reveal the rawness of human existence. It is in these fleeting pauses that we confront ourselves most directly, finding depth in the everyday. It is precisely this time, then, that reveals the rawest, most concentrated form of human experience—where the mundane becomes profound, and when I am most completely myself.
