Artwork description: "Force of Nature" has to do with the fascination of whole fields full of flowers that have always remained. But those flowers are disappearing. With my work, I try to draw attention to the natural beauty of flowers and the possibilities that the earth has in them. The bulb is a symbol of the power and survival drive of nature: There are flowers in the open air on the outside and in a cave (inside) where they have made their way through the cracks of the rock to be able to bloom, to drop their seeds that will germinate into new life. The sphere representing a cave/rock is made of thick pâte de verre, while the flowers should also give a fragile impression of the same technique but be very thin. (I have to de-install and install the work myself on where it will be placed.)
