Artwork description: The piece reflects my ideas about the differences and contrasts between individuals through the glass and is inspired by my thoughts about my relationship with my twin sister. The work is blown in a way in which the mold – the torso – is constantly approached while the glass bulb expands. Glass is fragile but also strong. Does the proximity in space, time, and distance represent the actual closeness of human relationships? Is the relationship strong or fragile, or neither? People may be connected by invisible "ropes" or bonds, which prompted the author to consider the connections between "genes," "family affection," and "relationship" while simultaneously presenting the same issues to the audience.
