Artwork description: For ages, the cardinal sins have been closely associated with morality and religion. However, modern society has transformed into an incredibly complex organism where economic, political, social, and technological factors have a tremendous influence on our lives. In this context, the concept of modern sins arises, encompassing new phenomena such as economic inequality, xenophobia, wastefulness, opportunism, distortion of truth, shortsightedness, and disregard. Our daily lives are increasingly dominated by these factors, leading to significant issues such as rising social inequality, migration-related problems, chronic ecological crises, the breakdown of social values, and disinformation. Therefore, the aim of this work is to draw attention to these contemporary problems and their impact on our lives and society.
