Artwork description: The installation of two glass objects is my attempt to describe the perception of the present and the non-present. I have been exploring the intensity of experiencing moments in the present, especially when contrasted with the non-present state of those same moments. The difference between these two dimensions, as well as their similarities and mutual relationship, were the main inspiration for my work. The observed repetitiveness of both states, with a tendency toward subtle transformation, I metaphorically represented through a baby diaper and an adult diaper.
These objects were created by taking imprints of real models, which allows every tiny detail to be captured. The translucency of the crystal glass gently highlights these details, while also conveying fragility, intimacy, subtlety, and a certain sense of nostalgia.
