Artwork description: The work of Steel and Needle is a set of eleven glass paintings, graphically retelling the plot of a novel of the same name that I wrote. The images are a tale of love, betrayal and separation between Prince Joddren and Mercenary Hawki. Each scene is composed of a large number of glass beads, and the carefully chosen colors amplify the mood and emotions hidden in the content. The gradation of colors from darkest to green depicts the building of a relationship and the subsequent cooling of feelings, which leads to the separation of actors due to obligations.
