Artwork description: Glass: It is a material that is beautiful and fascinating in itself. I try to “harm” it
as little as possible by my intervention. I form the object from the material only
by setting a simple geometric shape, reducing the creation to its essence. With
light, uniqueness of the glass stands out.
Concrete: It is technical, brutal material, grey unalluring matter at the first glance. It contrasts with captivating glass, yet it offers a lot. Without depth, it is the opposite of glass. Concrete is fullness. In my work "Relationships of Matter" I explore their confrontations. Whether they communicate with each other, whether they complement or restrict each other.
Is it a clash of fragility and strength, light and darkness, good and evil?... Glass
brings light to concrete and light adds subtlety, hope, lightness, it adds depth.
