Artwork description: Perch, the second cast glass graduation work, extends the surrealist flowing imagery of Moment Dye. It focuses on the idea of dwelling amid perpetual flux. Composed of combinable elliptical cylinders with hollow negative space, frozen drifting cloud forms hang down inside, reconciling dynamic flow and static stillness. Each slice exists independently as a personal spiritual shelter, while assembly forms an integrated sanctuary. The transparent glass interacts with light to generate shifting visual narratives, symbolizing self-completion amid change, inner peace and quiet hope for the future.
