Artwork description: Glass sculpture with multimedia installation Sculpture is inspired by music, persona and visualization of certain diva, I’ve choose my lifelong idol Nicki Minaj The aim of this project is the material expression of an idea and feelings while listening to music from these iconic lady. I wanted to create a special space and video for my sculpture and bring my feelings and imagination to the viewer as much as possible, the space is inspired by “a fan room/sanctuary” with a posters all over the walls, space and video contains pictures of subjects that was included in my bachelor thesis book, such as Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande, Opera singer and other female artists, feminism and women right, sketches and LGBTQ+ rights. I’ve used special glass Liba 70000, which is UV active due to added europium, it glows pink/red light under a UV light. Full video link is in website section.
