Artwork description: The work takes the architecture of the city as the creation prototype, and adjusts the combination of form and color. I used the flameworking technique to create minute textures on the surface of glass to form a sparkling effect, representing the dazzling lights of the buildings in the city. Every single building I made is a hollow thin shell, highlighting the fragility of glass, representing the thinness and fragility of spiritual life of people living in cities in the present material explosion. Each monomer is overlapping with each other, creating a complex visual effect, reflecting the anxiety and confusion of people's life in modern cities. In this labyrinth of glass cities, we yearn for light, but lose our way in the light.
