Artwork description: I am attracted to the transparency, luster, and shimmer inherent in glass, and I create works that bring out these qualities. In this work, three pieces are composed of shapes inspired by the sound of rain. Using the texture of glass liquefying in the kiln due to heat, I expressed the momentary appearance of water as rain changes into various shapes. What kind of rain do these shapes remind you of?
