Artwork description: The objects I present are the result of an experiment in combining 3D printing and sandblasting technologies. Through this interplay, a new approach to ornament emerges, one that transcends its conventional role as mere surface embellishment. Here, ornament becomes an active component of the object, merging seamlessly with its form. It carries not only an aesthetic quality but also a structural function. The objects reflect the technologies by which they were created – uniting digital and craft-based processes into a coherent whole. Both form and surface are shaped in such a way that ornament and object cannot be separated. It is precisely in this fusion of ornament and form that I see potential, as it enables me to push ornament beyond its traditional boundaries.
