Artwork description: In this series of glass works, Ziyu continues to expand on my previous research in the transformation of two-dimensional flat images and three-dimensional presentations. The theme of the work is based on the author's personal experience of the geopolitical and identity perceptions of a generation of young Asians born around the turn of the millennium, positive or negative, existing, non-existing or ongoing, imagined or imaginary, from a variety of sources. It explores how real and imaginary scenarios can be constructed in the glassworks and thus brought to the viewer's mind and imagination in the presentation of the works. On top of that, Ziyu is pursuing exploring the boundaries of glass art and Multi-Media Art in the glass process by bringing in the photographic work that inspired my ideas. In this way and also attempts to explore how photography can be presented in more diverse ways in the medium of glass art.
