Artwork description: A series of life-size cast-glass feet explores the body through presence, movement, and silent communication. The feet symbolize our fundamental connection to the earth, carrying the body’s weight and the idea of the path. Their fragile forms suggest vulnerability and tension. The work explores the body language through the most silent part of the body, showing a new perspective. The first pair of feet shows confidence, they are waiting for the second one to jump or cross something different. The second pair is not ready yet, it is unsure and scared. Our feet are our support, what strengthens and sustains us, but they can also express feelings and anxiety. In fact, the work also represents the author's legs and is a joke about him being unable to stand still.
