Artwork description: Too much informations, emotions, thoughts. The shredding of the fleshly sheath gone too cramped, as a unique remedy for the mind's release. A vision, an urge, abominable but salutary.

Artwork description long: This piece is about what I call "shredding of the being". It's a sensation that I feel sometimes, when I am overwhelmed by too much mixed chaotic emotions, that has to be excreted by one way or another. Then a vision : many hands of my own, maybe, tearing apart my fleshly sheath which felt too constraining, in order to set it all free. As excruciating as this sensation can be, it can happen without being percieved by the outside world, not crossing the social mask. Representing this illusion in the material world is a catharsis for me. With pâte de verre technique, I chose to create a human sized translucent glass bust. A ghostly but vivid object, with the grimace of the culminating point of the feeling, three hands ripping the face, committing the action of destruction and release. On the left side of the piece, we can see that the work has already began, the thick flesh turning into a delicate lace.
