Artwork description: This artwork represents life’s cyclical aspects. Life concerns birth and full glory of our existence. Moreover it also confronts us with transience through our fragile mortality. Transience however, is the key to infinity. I like to use the symbolism of the cirkel and oval because they enhance the deeper meaning of this ‘ménage a trois’: birth, death and infinity.
