Artwork description: The light object was created from mass-produced seed beads that show defects and are therefore unsellable. I use my own working process in which the beads are strung onto a wire mesh, over which a glass sheet made of clear seed beads is placed. The inspiration came from the technique of hot glass blowing into wire molds. The result is playful objects made from a material originally destined to be discarded.
