Artwork description: 1000 Fleeting Moments is a meditation on time and presence. The endless cycle of death and renewal in nature inspired me to find a way to capture and hold time, to transmit for the audience the flow state that I experience while making. Made from one thousand flame-formed glass leaves suspended in layered lines, the work hovers delicately in space, catching light and shadow as it subtly shifts with the air, inviting viewers into a state of quiet contemplation. Its shimmering surface resists permanence, reminding us of the fluidity of time and reality. Each individual leaf is unique, and although small, has a powerful resonance in the collective. Together, they speak to the flow of countless instants that shape our lived reality. 1000 Fleeting Moments offers a reminder of the transformative power of being fully present, and the impact of collective collaboration.
