Artwork description: The "Xu" series of works takes the tear bottles and tears from the ancient Roman period as creative elements. The tear bottle is a vessel for holding tears, and tears are the carriers of emotions and memories. I chose glass as the creative medium and used tears of different shapes to express the changes in my emotions after experiencing the passing of my grandparents. At the same time, I combined mirrors to present this set of works in the form of installations. Each tear is placed on the mirror surface, like the thoughts and memories that repeatedly well up from the heart through tears in daily life. I also hope that the audience can look through these "tears" and recall their own stories and emotions, and convey the emotions and warmth in their hearts.
