I love the material glass and the different techniques in which it can be worked. I am always looking for ways to combine and merge the different techniques. In June 2022 i graduated at the IKA in Mechelen. From the value I attach to freedom and autonomy I view our world. The common thread within my work is how we live according to rules and frameworks and with the world around us. As a visual artist, in my work I am always looking for that deeper layer of awareness and consciousness. By experimenting and letting the work grow organically, the most beautiful creations emerge. To shape my images I experiment with materials and techniques, such as glass blowing, glass casting, flame-work and various coldworking processes. I often combine this with other materials, such as metal and rubber. I like to use used materials that I then recycle in my art pieces.
