By Detlef Tanz 2018 > 2021 3D Computer Aided Design and 3D printing Experiences: In 1998 I first came into contact with glass as a material for my art objects. In particular, the physical properties, transparency and fragility of the material have my attention. In addition, the everydayness of the material fascinates me. How often we as individuals unconsciously come into contact with glass on a daily basis. I want to go beyond the everydayness of the material by investigating and using its physical properties.
