I am Katrīna Strādere (1993), a glass artist from Latvia. What fascinates me about glass is its duality – it can be both fragile and strong, transparent and mysterious. In my creative work, I strive to reveal the emotional side of the material and to create pieces that convey a sense of closeness and light. Alongside my artistic practice, I also work with interior design. I am particularly passionate about creating glass lighting objects, where the beauty of the material meets the power of light to shape atmosphere. For me, glass becomes a medium between light and people, bringing warmth and inspiration into everyday spaces. I see myself as a creative explorer – someone who uses art not only to form visual objects but also to share feelings and create spaces filled with warmth and vitality.
