Jocelyn Chan is a sound, music and language artist who travels the world with her perfect pitch. Born in 1998 and raised in Hong Kong amidst the rich history of neon lights, she was initially drawn to glass through the neon bending process at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. It was there that she discovered her passion for glassblowing and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Glass and Printmaking.
Having received a Takano Sano Scholarship, her recent works have been recognised by the Glass Art Society. In 2020, she received a Catherine Hokin Scholarship from the Art Department at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Her work has been exhibited at the Chazen Museum of Art and the Chrysler Museum of Art, as well as in New Glass Review 42 at the Corning Museum of Glass. Jocelyn continues to create challenging works and is currently exploring different opportunities while travelling around the world. She is currently studying on the Advanced Research Studies programme at the Toyama Institute of Glass Art in Toyama, Japan.
