Jan Čihák is a multidisciplinary artist and designer. His work spans a wide spectrum of applied arts, from glass to fashion, site-specific and fine arts objects. His work focuses primarily on cast sculptures, and he is currently working with processing of waste glass. Jan is a recent graduate of the master's program at the Glass Studio at the Faculty of Art and Design at the Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem. He previously completed a study stay at the prestigious ESMOD fashion school in Paris, was nominated for the Stanislav Libenský Award in 2022, and has presented his work at several group and solo art and design exhibitions on an international scale.
