I am a graduate student specializing in glass art at a university in Tokyo. Fascinated by the beauty and unique properties of glass, I primarily create three-dimensional art pieces using casting techniques.
My research focuses on capturing fragments of everyday life through glass. Rather than exploring abstract concepts or representations, I deliberately choose to depict the concrete aspects of reality. By detaching these elements from their usual context, I aim to offer a fresh perspective on reality and deepen the expression of these perspectives through the inherent qualities of glass. I believe that glass possesses a vital, fluid, and organic nature, and my goal is to elevate these characteristics in my work.
To date, I have participated in numerous exhibitions and galleries across Japan, receiving several awards for my work. Currently, I am also invited as a guest artist to showcase my pieces. Looking ahead, I aspire to take on broader platforms and projects, further expanding the possibilities of glass art.
