Hana Vopravilová's projects are situated between free objects and design. Glass is her primary medium and she perceives its materiality as a value in itself, which gives it a certain role within the concept. She draws her inspiration primarily from the process of glass production technologies - the discovery of which tends to escalate into free objects. She works with a subtle, emotional aesthetic and subjective themes, through her love of the mountains to her compulsion to collecting. Light plays a large role in her work - from the sun to the raw light bulb.
