British artist Emily Bolton is a BA (Hons) Ceramics and Glass graduate from the University for the Creative Arts. With a background in politics and ethics, their works remain responsive and addresses current socio-political issues. Struggling to find their voice within the busy political climate, Bolton turned to art as a means of getting heard. Since turning to art, they’ve found glass a powerful way of expressing themselves, curating and being shown in exhibitions, ‘Show off’ (2021) and ‘Behind the Scenes’ (2023). Bolton continues to challenge societal issues, both past and present, but is also focusing on more personal issues within their work.
