Bram Locknick is an artist and sculptor who works primarily with glass and 3D printing mixed media. Being from Windsor Ontario he was inspired at an early age by the figures of the towering Detroit skyline. He follows his curious instincts in order to develop ideas and concepts and translate them into sculpture. Driven by an urge to make, his artwork and design is pursuant of knowledge and processes which allow him to explore place, feeling, memory and the abstract so that he may translate them into sculpture. As an artist Bram Locknick is also passionate about arts education and facilitating experiences for others to explore their creativity and experience craft in his experience at Fleming College, Sheridan College and Harbourfront Centre.. Without the curiosity and involvement of all he believes that art and craft cannot be accessible or survive.
