An artist and maker, Ariel earned his MFA in Glass from Rhode Island School of Design,2023 and his BFA in Ceramics and Glass from the Bezalel Academy, Jerusalem, 2020.
At RISD, at Bezalel, during a semester at KADK and an internship at Orrefors ,Sweden, Ariel focused on balance between tradition and innovation in glassblowing.
He uses interlacing as a component of glasswork and as a metaphor for relations with others, within societal, cultural, environmental and historic networks.
Ariel traveled extensively worldwide. He worked at NCGC, US, and opened his own studio.
He had three main solo exhibitions (A&L Center, “Parallel spheres” , 2023; Chrysler Museum Vestibule “Atmosphere – A Shared Spirit” 2022-23 and “In Dialogue”,Mizgaga – Museum 2021) and participated in fifteen group exhibitions, including Biennale of Glass, Bulgaria, 2021 and Venice Glass Week, 2023.
His work was awarded as appreciation to Dr. Anthony Fauci, former chief medical advisor to the US. President.
