Based in rural Ireland, Áine Ryan's visual art practice focuses on the interchange between notions of belonging, place, identity and memory. Working with various materials, specifically cast glass, she turns to her farming background and rural upbringing to create sculptural work. In 2021, she graduated from Crawford College of Art and Design in Cork, Ireland with BA (hons) in Contemporary Applied Art in Glass, Ceramics, and Textiles.
